Talisa Dawson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with training & supervision through this agency.  She has over 10 years of experience working with many individuals helping them to process trauma & stress.  Along side of La'Neika, she will be assisting with supervision and further education of those seeking their licensure.  We are excited that she continues with us.

Talisa states, "I was drawn to the helping profession through my love for relationships, experiences and a deep desire to understand emotional processes and healing."  Her knowledge and life experiences has provided her with the ability to understand common patterns which affect most people in their journeys.

La'Neika is also the recipient of the 2025 ENC Remarkable Women of the Year Award!

Diamond Jenkins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from East Carolina University and her Master's through the Joint Master’s Social Work Program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Diamond has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger management, and ADHD in adults, among other challenges. She is passionate about using a person-centered approach, meeting individuals and families where they are, and guiding them through the therapeutic process. Her goal is to help increase self-efficacy and autonomy while fostering personal growth. Diamond integrates a strengths-based perspective, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused techniques to empower clients and provide them with practical tools to create meaningful change in their lives. She upholds empathy, respect, and compassion as core principles in her practice. Diamond states that she "believes in the value of incorporating faith into treatment, offering clients the opportunity to view their lives through a spiritual lens that can foster healing, resilience, and overall well-being".

La'Neika Benbow- Bruinton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (received from Fordham University)  and Marriage and Family Therapist (received from the Alliance Graduate Seminary School of Counseling in Nyack).  She has been a clinician for over 19 years and is experienced in working with many.  This includes work with veteran's, special needs (both children & adults), sufferers of medical issues,  family, pre-marital, marital and general couples issues, elderly (dealing with issues of alzheimers), providing strategies for caretaker stress reduction, assisting those with history of trauma and more.   She has found through her experiences that providing the opportunities for those whom she serves to incorporate their belief in God into their treatment, provides insight, hope and the additional support needed for change to occur.   It is her hope that all will be empowered in a way that will  create a healthy well-being affecting each person now and generations to come.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
